JGL Farms is home to the only hop operation in Saskatchewan and the largest in the Prairie provinces. Founded by a lifelong farmer and his craft beer-loving son, we’ve built a small but mighty hop farm from scratch—using prairie ingenuity, sustainable farming technology, and Saskatchewan’s rich, flat land to grow high-quality, aromatic hops with a uniquely Canadian terroir.
Our farm offers visitors a rare glimpse into the world of hop growing, showcasing a crop few have ever seen up close. From the vines to the brewing process, we share how hops contribute to the aromas and bitterness in beer and the specialized equipment we’ve developed to grow and harvest them right here on the Prairies.
