Who We Are

AARON GRANDGUILLOT

Owner & Head Brewer

Meet Aaron, a passionate brewmaster who has won several awards for his original beer recipes, including the Gold at the 2022 U.S. Open College Beer Championship for his Lights Out Porter. He is a certified BJCP judge and a level one Cicerone. After living in various cities across Canada, Aaron and his wife Gena decided to return to Saskatchewan and start up a craft brewery in Moosomin, a tight-knit and bustling community. Get ready to taste some amazing beer that will suit all the local beer connoisseurs!

Aarons favorite beer styles are IPAs and clean and crisp pilsners.

GENA SHEPHERD

Owner & Server

Gena's roots in Moosomin run deep, growing up on a local farm, before moving away for school and work. Since her family began to grow hops in 2014 at JGL Shepherd Farms, she has been returning home to lend a hand in the field, knowing that the hops they grow are crucial for developing the aroma and flavors in beer. Gena's passion for craft beer grew while living in Ontario, and now that she's back in Saskatchewan, she's excited to bring a piece of what she loves to her hometown. With the brewery, she hopes to create a community hub and gathering space in Moosomin.

Gena's favorite beer styles are a dark and roasty porter, or a West Coast Style IPA.
